LaBine, 34, Rush City, Minn., formerly of Nashwauk-Keewatin area, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, in Rock Creek, Minn.He was born on May 14, 1982, to Michael LaBine and Suzanne Erickson in Hibbing. Ryan was employed as a maintenance mechanic for Polaris in Osceola, Wis. He graduated from Eveleth Technical College, completing a two-year program in maintenance mechanic training. Ryan attended and graduated from N-K High School in 2000. He was a member of the Dirty Riders ATV Club. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating and riding his ATV. Ryan was such an outgoing, easy-to-get-along-with man, who could always make you smile.He is survived by wife, Jena LaBine of Rush City; two children, Nolan, 12, and Meranda, 9, LaBine, both of Rush City; his father, Michael LaBine of Keewatin; mother, Suzanne Erickson of Coolidge, Ariz.; his grandmother, Theresa LaBine of Hibbing; and two nephews, Devin Eskeli and Caleb Hunt.He was preceded in death by grandfather, Dennis LaBine; grandmother, Jean Jensen; and grandfather, Mason Kirk.Funeral: Services for Ryan will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. The Rev. Richard Johnston will officiate.Visitation: Will be held from 10 a.m. until the funeral service Thursday at the funeral home.Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. Jennifer Elena Knox took a piece of our hearts with her when she left our world suddenly Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017.Born March 2, 1980, in Bristol, and raised in Levittown, Jennifer was a graduate of Harry S. Truman High School.She will always be remembered as a sweet and gentle soul who was funny, smart, kind, and beautiful in a way that she never knew. She was loved very much and will be missed by so many, especially by her mother, and the love of her life, her son, Rashawn.The beloved mother of Rashawn Charles Santana, Jennifer was the loving daughter of Ella L. Williams and Philander Knox Jr. She was the sister of Philander C. Knox III, Jennifer Sherry, Marie Walker, Jacqueline Lauver, and Lisa Llewellyn.
